JULIA HAHN (Set Designer) is a native of Germany. She studied scenography at the Academy Minerva, and at the Design Academy in Holland. Her European credits include: Mozart's Magic Flute (Switzerland), No Exit (Germany), Woyzeck (Belgium). Since her arrival in the US she has designed for several theatre companies including the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, NYC, the 29th Street Repertory Theatre, NYC, the African Globe Theatre, Newark, NJ, TheatreProject in Baltimore, MD. She is the resident designer and Technical Director at Luna Stage Company in Montclair, NJ where she created the sets for The Queen of Thebes, The Collection, Rapture and Last Lists of my Mad Mother, which was directed by Olympia Dukakis. The Laramie Project is Julia's second project with NJ Rep. Most recently, she designed the set for Getting in Touch with My Inner Bitch starring Christine Lavin. Julia also works as scenic artist in the NY and NJ area.
