JASON ODELL WILLIAMS (Playwright) Originally from Columbia, Maryland, Jason is and actor, writer and filmmaker. As an actor, Jason most recently played Milo, Clevinger, and other roles in a seven-actor production of Catch-22 with Aquila Theatre Co. In addition, Jason has appeared on all the New York soaps, in several independent films (including 2008 Student Academy Award nominee, Picture Day) as well as Off-Broadway and regionally at such theatres as The Studio Theatre in D.C., Baltimore's Centerstage, The Shakespeare Theatre of D.C., The Actors Studio, The Daryl Roth 2 Theatre, The National Shakespeare Company, and Heritage Repertory Theatre in Virginia. Last year he was privileged to play a supporting role in a new screenplay reading with Christopher Walken, William H. Macy and Morgan Freeman. As a writer, Jason's work has appeared at Primary Stages, 45 Bleecker, The Abingdon Theatre, Roy Arias, Interart Theatre, and the historic Ensemble Studio Theatre, among others. His short film, The Danish Play, won awards at The 2004 New York Short Film Festival, The 2003 Philadelphia Short Film Festival, and the 2003 Denver Underground Film Festival. With a B.A from The University of Virginia and an M.F.A. from The Actors Studio Drama School, Jason lives in Manhattan with his wife, Charlotte Cohn, and their daughter, Imogen.
