MARTY MCCONNELL (Playwright) Internationally acclaimed performance poet Marty McConnell has appeared twice on HBO's "Def Poetry Jam" and has competed in seven National Poetry Slam competitions. Her work is widely published in literary journals and anthologies including "Word Warriors: 35 Women Leaders in the Spoken Word Movement." She performs throughout the country and recently completed her first European tour.
