STEWART M. SCHULMAN (Director) NYU Graduate Film School, has worked as a film editor, production manager, choreographer, director, writer, independent filmmaker, and commercial casting director. This season Mr. Schulman directed a reading of the play Armistice Day by Mark Dunn, a workshop of Las Lagrimas De Mis Madres by Poetess Maria Aponte, co-directed the critically acclaimed The Chaos Theories by Alexander Dinelaris, and was one of seven directors in Shotgun's 24 Hour Drama-Thon. He is currently writing a screenplay called Dancejoust about the competitive world of dance. His play Sister Bert enjoyed a successful reading in 2003. Mr. Schulman has co-written the screenplays for La Macha and Beyond Measure. He co-wrote the play version of Beyond Measure and directed a production at the Kampo Theater; and co-wrote and directed Out Of The Wheelchair And Into The Fire, a one-woman show based on the life of comedienne Esther Goodhart, at the Theater at St. Clements - (Pan Asian Rep).
