The Housewives of Mannheim: A nostalgic comedy/drama that takes place in the extended community of an apartment house in Brooklyn, 1944. Four women on the home front, living without their men, discover new dimensions of love, friendship and tolerance. They also discover that the freedom that comes with the end of the war and their returning men, is a double-edged sword.
